Houseboat

Our Florida Island is nestled next to a nature preserve right off of Marathon Key in the Florida Keys. Your accommodations for the week are on a houseboat which is docked at a privately owned island. The fully equipped island is exclusively yours during the duration of your stay. The island has a tropical outdoor kitchen and living spaces as well as many tucked away seating areas to enjoy the scenic surroundings. Gather and unwind with your family around our fire pit after a full day of connection and activity.

Sleeping Accomodations:

The 38ft Houseboat & Island accomodates 6 adults comfortably. The aft Master State room features a full size bed and master head with a walk in shower. The lower bow state room features two full beds and a private head.

Check In/Check Out:

You will be greeted at the boat dock promptly at 3pm on Saturday. You will be escorted to the island and shown everytihng you need to know for your stay on the Houseboat, use of the watercraft and logistics. Check out is at 9am on Saturday where your skiff should be secured to the dock.

Power & Water:

The Houseboat is mostly powered by solar panels on the top of the boat. There is also a generator on the island for back up power and to run the AC. While on the island you have 100 gallons of water on the boat and an additional 200 gallons in the cistern. This is conservatilvely enough water for maximim of 6 adults for the week.

On the Houseboat:

The Houseboat comes fully equiped with sheets, towels, pots, pans, dishes, silverware and everything you need to fully enjoy your stay. We also provide trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning products.

On the Island:

The island has a tropical outdoor kitchen and living spaces as well as many tucked away seating areas to enjoy the scenic surroundings. The rustic kitchen features a full size propane barbeque grill with a side burner, a vintage drink cooler, cast iron pans and utensils.

The outdoor living space features an comfy seating area beside a full size hammock. Perfect to snuggle up in or have an intimate cocktail hour. At night the island is lit by solar lightening and tiki's providing the ultimate tropical ambiance.

Amenities:

Included in your stay is a 17ft Skiff to travel back and forth to the mainland.
